What can you expect form our Inspections of your chimneys and dryer vents. 1st we inspect all chimneys to NFPA 211 2010, Table 14.2.1 this is a nationally recognized agency NFPA 212 is the Standard for Chimneys, Fireplaces, Vents and Solid Fuel-burning appliances, we can not ignore things we find and we document in writing, verbally, with photo’s and video if approved, of what we find for your benefit as well as ours. We can not observe issues in the chimneys or dryer vent and just pretend they aren’t there, we have to make you aware of them, it is code, and it’s ok if you don’t want to “sign” our sheet we will just Email that inspection report to you to document the issues we find.

It’s kind of like when you bring your car to your mechanic to have the oil changed and he sees you have no brakes, you want him to tell you don’t have brakes or would you rather have an accident and some one gets hurt. We don’t want this to happen to your home or your family.
A normal NFPA211 level one inspection will check all Readily Accessible parts of the chimney not requiring tools (we may use tools to view parts of the chimney but it not required) and it does not require us to go on a roof in a level one inspection.
